The Holographic Tower is based in Manhattan, New York and stands out because of its unique facade. It is geared to a dress of Issey Miyake’s 2016 collection and depending on the viewers perspective the tower appears differently.
The two sided panels are colored differently on each side so basically wherever you stand or depending on the position of the sun the tower has a totally different look. Inspired by the Absolute Towers in Chicago the Holographic Tower is formed curvy and brings dynamic into the city. Additionally the panels can move with the sun which brings a lasting light incidence into the building. The construction has a height of 203m including 58 levels (119858 m2). It is mainly a high class, luxury hotel plus it provides a few very modern private flats. On the ground levels you can find some restaurants and high fashion stores.
