The design idea for the Streamline 57 was dictated by the parallel fluctuating lines of a dress which was manufactured by the dutch Designer Iris van Herpen. Similar to the dress, this skyscraper is defined through the interplay of several ribbons.
Running quite parallel on the ground level, they gain stronger individuality as they reach further in the sky, whilst still maintaining their interactions. Clusters of intense concave and convex forms alternate with clusters of rather calm and even lines. The forms composed by these geometries allow multifaceted and interesting spaces. Flexible offices, seminar rooms and an inviting atrium are just some among the many possibilities offered by the versatile geometry. Thereby the Streamline 57 complies with the high demands of a modern office building.
